I visited my former ITE classmate's newborn baby boy during the two week school vacation in june.The baby boy had an uncanny resemblance to my friend.Haha.Struggled a lot doing my Ironcad assignments and finally started on my project and after finishing it,had it rejected.So i started work on a new design and submitted it for cutting.I really hope it will be cut out cause i am really tired of coming up with so many designs.So many quizzes,projects,lab test and a french role-play all coming up in the coming weeks.Very Stressed!!

Term test was okay.I am in the second week of my two week school vacation.I have been trying very hard to complete my ironcad assignment but to no avail.This is largely due to us being unsure of how to use the software.Hopefully i'll get the hang of it soon.

I wanted to dedicate this post to just food and food alone.So here goes..
The best places to have prata are as follows(well at least according to me):
1) Al-Ameen at Bukit Timah - The cheese prata has mozarella cheese in it and it is superb! They
even have teh-tarik that has wonderful aroma of rose.
2) Prata.com opposite Queensway mrt,near to the old Queenstown NPC - The prata is also
pretty nice here.
3) There is this place at sembawang which is just infront of some private housings.This place also
has wonderful prata but it is very tough to find parking spots at this place and you can end up
getting fined for illegal parking very easily.
4) The prata stall at Bedok South opposite Block 18(market place hawker centre near Temasek
jc).It is usually manned by this old indian man and his wife.The prata is pretty decent here as
well but not as good as the first two places that i mentioned above.

I believe there are probably more places out there with wonderful and tasty pratas but i only
know this four places for now which serve nice pratas.I plan to visit Jalan Kayu soon to try
the famous Jalan Kayu prata!Woohoo!

Besides prata, i have to recommend the following places for their good food..
1) Sakura International Buffet at Clementi Woods Park-This place is pretty huge and they have
a wide variety of dishes(Thai,Chinese etc).I totally pigged out at this place when i went there
during my NS time.
2) Carousel at Orchard-This place has WONDERFUL food as well.I went there during my NS
time as well and totally enjoyed their chocolate fondue.
3) Shakunthala's beside Mustafa Centre-They have very nice tasting cheese naans!But it is very
expensive..
4) Sri Sujana,Changi Village - This place serves delicious Nasi Lemak and the sambal is
superb as well!!
5) Mahboob stall at Blk 26A,Chai Chee Road - This place serves splendid Nasi Briyani with fried
chicken.
6) Khan Saab stall at Blk 55,Chai Chee Street - They have great tasting thosais here.
7) Komala's - It generally has nice vegetarian food for everyone..
8) Hollywood,Bedok Interchange Hawker Centre - This place serves very nice Ice Kachang!My
personal favourite has to be the Mango Ice Kachang!!

Though i may be pretty skinny in appearance, i am an avid food lover!Haha.The above places are probably just a few that i can remember of.So those of you who have yet to visit these places,i strongly recommend you to go there soon!But let's say their standards drop when you visit the places, i am not to blame ok!

Manchester United won their 18th domestic title about 2 weeks ago.I felt great satisfaction that they had pipped Liverpool to the title.Then, Man Utd lost the champions league final on thursday morning to a wonderful and fluid side in Barcelona.Iniesta and Pique really pulled the strings for the catalans.I was not very bitter about the loss as they lost to a much superior side on their day.I received the results of my quizzes earlier this week and I had done pretty badly.Then, i did a lab test which i think that i am going to flunk as i totally could not do it.I really felt totally lost and to think that i had just practiced my previous labs the day before.Sheesh.What a sucky feeling!On the same day itself,i had french listening and writing test.The listening test was not too bad but i think i will do pretty badly for the writing test.Darn!Term test is next week!Arghhh!!!I still remember my friend telling me that 2.2 will be very easy.I really feel like smacking his face as so far,the semester has been pretty tough.In fact,it is more tougher than the previous semester which was supposed to be the 'killer'.I am totally stressed out.Shall update again soon..

I have been kept busy by school work for the past few weeks.Term Tests are coming up in 2 weeks' time.Quizzes and lab tests will be happening next week and the week after that.Trying not to be too stressed.French is bloody damn difficult.I always have the tendency to choose difficult cds modules and i will only regret taking it after the first few weeks of school.In between school, i managed to do relief teaching last week.There was this kid from a primary five class who kept trying to act smart with me.I gave her a difficult sentence to figure out which she would probably only be learning in secondary school and that finally managed to keep her quiet.Haha.The primary school that i relief at is very near my ex-girlfriend's place and i ran into her last week as well.She walked past me like as though i was invisible.I still cannot understand why she has been giving me the cold shoulders all this while as she was the one who initiated the break-up and after that, she was the one who even suggested that we should remain as good friends.Very weird.Oh yes!Man Utd are just one point away from their 18th domestic title!I hope they play their hearts out and get that precious one point, hopefully by tomorrow against Arsenal or against Hull City next weekend.Nothing but a trophyless season for Liverpool would pacify me.I still recall Liverpool fans taunting me as Liverpool did the double against Man Utd.Revenge is coming.Hahaha.I went to Mustafa Centre earlier with my friends and came across this box of chocolates and it was called Feelings.Haha.They also had some imitated version of ferrero rocher called rolled rex or something.I always thought Sheng Siong was the only place with the imitated version of rochers but Mustafa has definitely proved me wrong.Earlier this week, i finally saw this girl who i was trying to woo back during my NS days but gave up halfway as i thought it was the sensible thing to do back then.She really looked like an angel and at that moment,i felt so stupid for not pursuing her.Haha.I guess that is all for now.Will try to update soon....

School holidays have ended and it's back to school now.I did not do anything productive at all during the holidays.I still have not found a part-time job yet.Man Utd lost the FA Cup semis to everton through penalties.=sigh=Will update soon..

After two straight back-to-back defeats, Man Utd's title hopes were fast fading away.The first loss came at Old Trafford(our own backyard!) at the hands of Liverpool(if only MACHEDA played in that game.haha) and the second away at Craven Cottage to Fulham.You could suddenly sense the rot.The game earlier today was bloody damn intense for all Man Utd's fans.After going a goal up from Ronaldo's wonderful free-kick, Aston Villa equalised soon after.You could clearly see that Gary Neville was struggling and he was definitely at fault for the goal.I certainly feel that he should be used only for cup games!Thanks to that bugger and Ronaldo being a lazy ass to track back when he lost the ball, Man Utd conceded another goal and were 2-1 down and Man Utd were playing at home,mind you.I was seriously full of curses for both Gary Neville and Ronaldo.Ok once in a while for the rest as well.Every Man Utd supporter probably felt that it was going to be the third loss in a row but deep inside everyone wanted them to come back and win it!Fergie's master stroke was when he introduced Federico MACHEDA for the ineffective Nani.He started to cause problems for the Villans' defence and Ronaldo finally equalised around the 80th minute.Man Utd were finally finding the rhythm.Off went Tevez and on came Welbeck.He probably had the best chance to win it for us but credit to Friedel for saving his shot.Then deep into injury-time,Giggs's through pass found MACHEDA,who turned his marker to curl in a WONDERFUL winning goal and sent Man Utd supporters worldwide into ectasy!!This was probably one game i would never forget and it so reminded me of the 99' champions league final where Man Utd won the game in injury time.HAHA!Today was a great game and though we have won,there are still 8 more games to be played.There should not be any more slip-ups now or risk losing the title to Liverpool.But for now, GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED!!

When i first saw her,i had a schoolboy crush on her.She had this coarse kind of voice that made her stand out from the other girls.Her nose was always red like 'rudolph the red nosed reindeer'.I always teased her saying that her nose stud is the reason for her red nose.She always loved to laugh and make others around her laugh as well.She used to tell me that she's a very happy-go-lucky kind of person.I recall bringing her to eat cheese thosai and how she loved it and how i totally despised the taste.When i was relatively a newbie working at the airport, she used to help me out a lot in helping me to adapt.There was an instance when i got a complaint from a cleaner from the cleaning company, Campaign, but i had accidentally heard it as 'kian peng' and keyed in the comapny's name as 'kian peng' in the report.When she saw it, she broke out laughing hysterically and told me that it was definitely Campaign and not 'kian peng' and hence, she gave me the nickname 'kian peng'.I used to call her 'ah pui' cause there were rumours that she was actually fat during her primary school days.We used to talk a lot of cock and laugh at each others' crappy antics/jokes.We became very good friends and i used to confide in a lot of stuff with her.She too confided in me.She told me that she had a medical condition.I never really thought that it was anything serious.When i successfully got into Temasek Poly, i eventually quit my job at the airport.I was keeping in touch with her for a while but as time passed and i got even busier with schoolwork, i eventually lost contact with her.Just last month, when i was so stressed out with schoolwork, i received a sms that she was hospitalised and that one of her lungs had collapsed or something.I recieved news that she was under ventilator and stuff.I really wanted to go and visit her but i was tied down by school work.After a few weeks, i was told that she was better already.I was just happy that she was better.Then after all my exams were over and i was just planning to visit her last week with my former colleagues but i was told that she was better and that she did not want to be disturbed by any visitors for that day.So i did not make the trip.Then this week, i received the news that she had passed away.I was really gutted.She died at a very young age.The happy,cheery friend that i had is gone forever.Rest In Peace, Grace Wee.

Liverpool did the 'double' over Man Utd for the season.Man Utd's loss to Liverpool left a bitter taste in my mouth.I would never have expected Vidic to make errors, who has probably been United's most consistent player till that day.I guess it was just not his day and a red card for the day ruined his and Man Utd's chance of ever making a comeback in the game.I watched the game at downtown east at that weird lounge with a bunch of my friends.The last time i went there was a few years ago when Man Utd played Liverpool as well.That time, United notched up a win at the final minute of play.Hehe.I guess it's all even now.The title race is probably a bit more interesting now and i hope that the loss will be a wake-up call for United to be more consistent and to wrap up the title.I went to the IT show again on Sunday as my friend had wanted to get a 'water-proof' camera so that he could take pictures when he goes snorkelling.I guess he got it at a good price and he seemed very satisfied with it.After that, we headed to Beach Road for dinner.I had 'Mee Goreng Putih' with chicken pieces.It was seriously my first time eating that and i have to say that it was not very wonderful.It was just edible.Recently, my friend from my NS days has been pestering me to try Monavie, a health drink.He keeps saying that fifty dollars is not much for a drink that is so beneficial to my health.When i told him of my near pauper state, he asked if my family members would want to try it.I had to keep them safe from sales monsters like him so i told him that they would not be interested either.He just did not want to give up and kept trying to persuade me to buy it.In the end, he went home not being able to sell his expensive drink to me.Haha.Okay, i still have not found any job yet which explains my near pauper state.Any donations to my fund is welcome.Thank you.

Ok back with another entry.It is the holidays now.I have been mostly lazing around at home.Then i would go out whenever my friends wanted to hang out.I went to the IT Show earlier today.Goodness gracious me!It was a thursday but the whole place was so crowded!My friend bought a HD TV.Bloody rich bugger!Haha.Manchester United knocked Inter out of the champions league but they had to fight hard for the win.I do hope that they play better in the quarters against whoever they get.I thought i will be doing relief teaching for the holidays but somehow no schools want to call me up so i am just rotting at home.I also received my results.I managed to pass everything at one go!WOOHOOO!!The only sad part was that my gpa dropped a lot.I guess the more important thing is that i have progressed to the next semester of study! I am eagerly anticipating the showdown between Manchester United and Liverpool on the coming saturday.I really hope Man Utd will beat them and effectively knock them out of the title race....

Ok exams for the semester was finally over yesterday.Next up in two weeks' time.THE RESULTS!! I cannot help but feel very nervous about it.Manchester United played an entertaining first half and endured the pressure in the second half when they played Inter in the champions league game on Wednesday morning.A draw is a good result to take back to Old Trafford.The theatre of dreams is where the red devils have rarely failed to shine.Many United faithfuls will never forget the 6-1 mauling of AS Roma at Old Trafford a few seasons ago during a champions league tie.Well, my point is that it is italian opposition again and the return leg is at Old Trafford as well.I cannot help but hope that it will be another mauling of yet another italian club this time.Haha.Holidays have officially started for me as well.Time to get a job....Update again soon..
